***TEACHER’S TOOLS TOP PICK*** In Planet, each player receives a blank 12-sided, three-dimensional planet core. On each turn players select a magnetic landscape tile with areas representing oceans, deserts, mountains and frozen lands. They then place it on their planet to create ecosystems. The player who fulfills the most conditions for the habitat of certain animals gains its card. For example, you may win an elephant card if you have the largest area of desert that touches a mountain area or you may win a bald eagle card if you have the most separate areas of mountains. Each turn is different and each animal needs different areas to thrive. Fill your planet strategically, collect your animals, and you just might win! Includes 4 planet cores, 50 magnetic continent tiles, 45 animal cards, 5 natural habitat objective cards, a first player token, and illustrated rules. For 2-4 players, ages 8 and up
